Global Hackathon ProtoHack Happens In Style At CEED. Youngest Team Pitching Steals The Show
November 25: Hackathons are no longer for coders, as it was a full house at Chitkara Innovation Incubator with 45 young and vibrant entrepreneurs participating in this 12-hour long ‘Business Idea Hackathon’. A mix of people with very diverse skillsets were seen collaborating their ideas with experienced mentors refining their pitches and prototypes throughout the day.
Inevitably, not all of the final pitches were winners, but ironically, the team that bagged the 1st prize at ProtoHack Chandigarh comprised of 14-year-old Aashish Raizada and 12-year-old Jeevesh Attri, both students of Chitkara International School, Chandigarh. Their idea was based on promoting ‘Organic Polycs: Bioplastics’ as a substitute to plastic. Even the 2nd position was bagged by a student of the same school, 12-year-old Kawin Sharma, whose idea was called ‘Active Sharing Adolescent Portal’, an app to enable students in sharing their problems with Counsellors while maintaining anonymity.
Our jury comprised of serial entrepreneurs like:
Mr. Kunal Nandwani – Founder & CEO, uTrade Solutions
Mr. Sameer Jain – CEO, Net Solutions India
Mr. Manvir Randhawa – Founder, MRSG
With the runaway success of this event, we thank our judges, mentors, volunteers and participants for their immense support and commitment towards our common goal #Innovation. Thank You for #MakingItHappen! Video Releasing Soon..
