Flipkart is no more an unknown company. The company managed to accomplish a gigantic hit in the Indian online market. The company was started by Sachin and Binny Bansal, the IIT-D alumni. They had worked with Amazon earlier, and so thought of bringing a similar model into the Indian market. They began by selling books in the year 2007 and now everything is available on this marketing platform. The company even managed to acquire Myntra for around INR 2000 crores.

No one would have ever thought that cab booking can be that easy and simple. The credit goes to the Ola Cabs. Moreover, a cab travel now costs even less than an auto-rickshaw travel. Bhavish Aggarwal and Ankit Bhati are the founders of Ola Cabs. They were the IIT-B graduates who worked with the MNCs before making up their minds to become entrepreneurs.

This idea gained grounds when on a weekend trip, Bhavish had a really bad experience travelling in a rented car. He wanted to bring something better for the consumers and thus in October 2015, Ola Cabs became one of the most valued start-ups in India.

5. Make My Trip

Make My Trip was an idea of Deep Kalra, an IIM Ahmedabad alumnus. It without any question has transformed the travel industry immensely over the period of years. It was initially put forward in the US market in the year 2000 with the needs of NRIs in mind for their Indo-American trips. It was in 2005 that it further spread its roots in India and began with just the flight tickets. Today, the company has managed to gain worldwide recognition.
